How to recognize your TPA
There are various methods to determine your TPA:
- Your identity card from the TPA will list the name of your TPA on it.
- The name of the TPA will be printed on your insurance policy's left-hand side.
- You can get correct information from your insurance representative.

The marketing division has the pre authorization paperwork for the TPA affiliated with the hospital.

Important Information
Having a TPA identity card does not guarantee that a patient will receive the Cashless benefit. To receive a punishment from the TPA, a specific prescribed process must be followed.

Admission Process
- Cashless authorization must be requested from the TPA at least two days before any planned or elective admissions.
- You will receive help from the marketing department in faxing the properly filled preauthorization form from the TPA (along with the latest policy copy and positive investigation reports.
- Even though the TPA has approved cashless payments, the patient is still required to pay a refundable security deposit of Rs. 5000 at the time of admission.
- The patient will be accommodated in the higher or lower bed class according to their preference if the room or bed type stated in the authorization letter is not available. Patient will be required to pay the difference in fees in the event of admittance into the higher class.

Discharge Process
- Until the hospital receives full payment from the TPA, the hospital will hold onto a refundable deposit of Rs. 5000 for each lakh of the sanctioned amount. The patient will be informed through SMS of the process for the reimbursement of the deposit upon settlement of payment from the TPA.
- If the TPA does not cover any exclusions or non-medical costs at the time of discharge, the hospital will demand payment.
- Since these are forwarded by the hospital to TPA with the bill for reimbursement, no original hospital records or reports will be supplied to the patient. The relative is free to take Xerox copies of the same at his own expense.
- The patient may obtain a copy of the detailed bill or summary from the accounts department at the time of discharge.
- Within 10 days after discharge, any uncollected reports or films must be picked up from the marketing department.
